  • 1949 - Born in Huangyan, Zhejiang Province, China
  • 1977 - Graduated from the Fine Arts Faculty of Nanjing Fine Arts Academy
  • 1987 - Appointed as Vice-Principal, Nanjing Academy of Calligraphy & Painting
  • 1988 - Appointed as 2nd Grade National Artist, China
  • 1992 - Appointed as 1st Grade National Artist, China
  • 1993 - Appointed as Deputy Principal, Nanjing Academy of Calligraphy & Painting
  • 1998 - Appointed as Member of Jiangsu Province Fine Arts Critics Committee
